Problem :
Online eyewear shopping lacks the tactile reassurance users rely on when making high-consideration purchases. Customers often struggle to judge fit, comfort, and overall appearance through static images alone, leading to uncertainty, hesitation, and abandoned carts particularly for premium frames where confidence plays a critical role.

Solution :
OptiLook reimagines eyewear e-commerce by designing a calm, confidence-driven experience that supports decision-making without pressure. Virtual try-on is introduced as an optional validation layer allowing users to explore, compare, and confirm their choices naturally, while maintaining a clean, distraction-free interface focused on product craftsmanship and clarity.

Challenge :
The core challenge was integrating advanced AR capabilities without letting them dominate the experience. Many existing platforms push virtual try-on as a primary hook, which can feel overwhelming or gimmicky. The goal was to balance innovation with restraint ensuring AR enhanced trust rather than disrupting the purchase journey.

Summary :
This case study explores a thoughtful approach to premium eyewear design, emphasising visual hierarchy, system consistency, and intentional interaction patterns. By prioritising confidence over conversion pressure, the experience helps users move from discovery to checkout with clarity, trust, and ease.
